Treatment at referring E/CC Center included:

  • 7/4 – Antivenin
  • 7/5 – FF Plasma
  • 7/6 – FF Plasma and meloxicam
  • 7/7 – Surgical Consultation yielded a recommendation for debridement in preparation for future grafts/flaps
  • 7/7 – Referral for 2nd Opinion – HBOT recommended

  • 7/9 – 1 HBOT Treatment

This Jack Russell Terrier was treated at a specialty and emergency care center appropriately and intensively with antivenin, plasma, and supportive care. A few days later, the surgical specialist advised debridement to prepare for flaps/grafts. The client requested a second opinion, and the patient was referred for HBOT. No surgical procedure was performed. The pictures demonstrate the clinical response.
